FGTBA abstract selected as “Best of Category” for Airway Management at the upcoming International Anesthesia Research Society Meeting.

FGTBA has 2 abstracts accepted for poster presentation at the upcoming IARS 2013 Annual Meeting. One of our abstracts, “MIGRATION OF POLYURETHANE HIGH-VOLUME LOW-PRESSURE CUFFED ENDOTRACHEAL TUBES AFTER FLEXION AND EXTENSION OF THE NECK: A PROSPECTIVE CONTROLLED TRIAL,” has been selected for the distinction of “Best of Category” for the Airway Management category from over 400 abstracts submitted for the IARS 2013 Annual Meeting, May 4-7, in San Diego, California.  At the Annual Meeting, the poster board presentation will receive a “Best of Category” award ribbon to indicate its prestige as the best abstract submission in the category.  The research team would like to acknowledge Robert Dodson CRNA, Bill Brashears CRNA, Dr. Mangar and Dr. Camporesi for their contribution to this clinical trial.

FGTBA has 7 abstracts accepted for presentation (1 oral and 6 poster) at the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Conference in October 2012!! Approximately 20,000 members, meeting participants and guests will gather in Washington, D.C. from Saturday, October 13 to Wednesday, October 17. The American Society of Anesthesiologists receives over 2000 applications per year and only accepts 100 of these for oral presentation and 1300 for poster presentation. We are proud to announce that our private organization contributes such a tremendous amount of clinical research every year.
